Which Polish is right for my furniture?
French polishing is a wood finishing technique that results in a very high gloss surface, with a deep colour and reflective nature. It is softer than modern polishes and is particularly sensitive to spills of water or alcohol, which often produce white cloudy marks. Our service can restore the finish, blending the polish on the damaged areas seamlessly into the rest of the piece.

HOW DO WE RESTORE YOUR FURNITURE?
We first consider partial restoration. Depending on the extent of the damage, the damaged furniture may either be repaired and refinished or we will completely strip by hand the old finish off and totally re-polish the damaged area. All areas will be refinished to match the damaged area.
WHY IS IT BETTER TO REPAIR THAN REPLACE?
It doesn’t make financial sense to replace quality furniture that can be restored. Use this example: If your car’s bumber has a dent, you don’t replace the whole car. You replace the bumber and a little painting. Similarly, you don’t replace a restorable piece of furniture.
